I decided to challenge myself with a blog hop again so that I could get more experience in jewelry making. Its been a big challenge since I have a hard time figuring out what to do with my own beads let alone someone elses.
I was given Lampwork beads created by ShaZazz Glass. The etsy shop is located at shazazzglass.etsy.com. I must say this lady makes some great beads. Below is what I created with the items I recieved.
I was very challenged during this hop. I had no clue what to make, plus 6 little puppies and 4 big ones to take care of. But I did it and I love what I created.
I added a few beads of my own but all of the items I was given are in this piece. I think it turned out fantastic.

Ears To You!!
There is a new blog hop I have joined, and I am inviting everyone that reads this to join as well.
Ears To You is: a great organization with a mission to provide earrings to lift the spirits of women undergoing chemotherapy for cancer. Ears to You has expanded their wonderful organization to include children's hospitals - including the Cleveland Clinic Children's Hospital and BASE Camp Children's Cancer Foundation in Florida.
To get more information about this hop and the organization please go to the Copper Diem blog at the link following this. Then come back September 14th and see what we have all sent and add your link so we can see your beautiful work as well.

Memory is a bad bad thing!
I forgot to add a few things about the earring blog hop. First I want to thank Jessica for putting up with the whole lot of us, I know it was difficult doing this all alone.
Secondly. I forgot to add the links to the other blogs that participated in the hop as well.

Earring Blog Hop
I finally got up the nerve to join my first blog hop. It was for earrings, you are paired up with partners and make each other a unique pair of earrings based on what they say is their type.
My partner is Mischelle Fanucchi and this is what she has to say...
I like beachy type themes, sea glass, amethyst, turquoise. I do love bright colors. boho type, I do like all types of metals and do not have any allergies to anything.
So with all this in mind, I made these earrings for her......
I used silver plated wire, some green sea glass, green agate beads, a copper toned sparkly bead and wrapped some seed beads around it all. I hope she liked them.
In return I was a lucky duck and recieved three pairs and it was my choice as to which were the main pair for the hop.
I love them all and it was very hard to choose which ones were my favorite. I have been wearing them all, but I do believe that my favorite is the middle pair with garnets. I love garnets. I love how dark red ( like blood ) they are and they are my birthstone!
I had a good time with the blog hop and I made a great friend at the same time. Maybe one day I can do a different hop and really challenge myself. Lol not too soon though!
Thanks all for looking!

Seed Bead Freak
Lately, I've been playing with seed beads. Ok I've been playing alot with seed beads. I love how a design comes together, and it amazes me that I can do something like that. out of everything I've made (and I've made alot of stuff) my only sales were seed bead bracelets. I was hoping for my regular beaded items to sell as well but thats ok. At least I sold something.

The Beginning......My new passion.
Hi Everyone!
I've started this blog to mainly talk about what I learn during the jewelry making process and my thoughts on everything. I know a little but I want to learn more....A whole lot more. I can't wait to get started.
I love crystals and once I start sharing the photos here you will understand why, but right now I've been into making bracelets with the peyote stitches. I find it amazing how such tiny beads can come together to make something so pretty.
